NANOPEC proprietary nano-structured ceramic films and membranes provide a platform for the development of next-gen healthcare technologies. Unlike complex, low-yielding traditional nano-fabrication products, our modular nano-structured ceramics manufacturing is scalable and free from cytotoxic chemicals.
DNAReax, MetaFluorex, BioZeram and MetaPurex are bio-compatible nano-structured ceramic films explicitly formulated for oligonucleotide synthesis, enhanced fluorescence diagnostics, cell growth and filtration sterilization. The unique commercial nano-porous ceramic films are produced without the use of heavy metals (mercury and chrome) and toxic chemicals (perchlorates).

DNAReax provides an easy to activate, chemically stable, easy to cleave substrate for oligonucleotide synthesis. As silicon chips, DNAReax chips are also for high precision DNA and RNA synthesis. But unlike silicon, DNAReax yields are over 50 times those obtained in expensive nano-patterned silicon chips. The uniform pore size distribution of DNAReax nano-structured ceramic films eliminate 'shortmers' which waste reagents and compromise quality when using controlled pore glass (CPG). Available in a large number of formats including 2mmx2mm chips, discs from 1mm to 10 cms in diameter and also in micron powder form.

With an unsurpassed transparency, MetaFluorex is ideal for fluorescence bio-assays, yielding 25 to 100 times higher signal to noise ratios than traditional glass slides or well micro-plates. BioZeram offers 3D cell-growth media with high oxygenation and access to nutrients. No cell harm caused by high stirring shear forces in solution Biozeram allows cells to adopt a natural morphology which speeds up growth by as much as 30%. MetaPurex eliminates harmful contamination that leads to FDA product recalls. Unlike commercial membrane filters, MetaPurex ceramic filters have highly ordered nanometer-size pores free of defects capable of filtering out all bacteria, including mycoplasma, and common viruses.
